It's time we added to the family and picked up a couple of pooches (maybe a pig too). Anyway, we live in coyote country and I need to build a coyote proof kennel. I was planning on getting a fencing contractor out to put up a kennel with 7' tall chain link, but I was wondering about the floor. I'm concerned that a coyote will dig in or the dog's will dig out. The easiest way to stop this would be to put a concrete floor in. However, I'm also concerned about the dogs being on concrete so much.

Any advice or experience welcomed.

Thanks

invisible fencing?

are your dogs little yappy dogs or can they fend for themselves?

if so build a pen for the pigs and use the invisible fencing for the dogs, they will keep Willey away.

run chicken wire up the side of the fence a little bit, and then bend it 90 degrees and run it about 2 feet out on the ground. Cover with a little dirt and grass will grow. Most things that dig will go to the edge of the fence and dig, which will be fruitless as they will be digging into the chicken wire and give up.

get a burro for the yotes.
