I went through and read a bunch of the posts related to torsion bars and decided to tackle that this evening. I'm at about about 2.5" of rake and I was hoping to raise the front and get it a little closer to 1". I'm running the OME HD lift with 864 springs in the back. I've got a RTT, drawers, fridge and am pretty loaded for camping and usually keep it that way.

I spent a bunch of time playing with the torsion bars in the front but I could not get the front raised at all and still keep the 55mm of droop. I ended up right back to where they had been set leaving me with 2.5" of rake. Does this mean I need to re-index the t-bars? Or is it because the 864 springs are that much stiffer that they sit that much higher in the rear?

On a somewhat related note, I noticed that my passenger rear is about 3/4" lower than my driver side. The weight is pretty evenly distributed inside and on the vehicle. What might cause that?

For starters, what is your front and rear lift heights? (Measured center of hub to lip of fender)

Also you should fill out your signature ;)

Front is 21.25", rear drivers side is 23 3/4", rear passenger side is 23"

How do you measure droop?

You measure from the center of the hub to the fender with the truck sitting normal, then you jack the truck up so the wheel is off the ground and take the same measurement. The difference should be 55mm. Or at least that's how I understand it and that's what I was shooting for.

You'll never get full droop doing one side at a time with the antisway bar attached.

Crap, wish I had known that. I only have the factory jack at the moment. Can I use that to jack up the axle in the middle or is there an easy way to disconnect the sway bar?

Yup, what @Hayes said. You either need to increase droop (longer shocks like icon & UCAs), or go with a shorter spring in the rear. The latter is the cheapest, plus your front end will be happier at the lowest you can keep it. Highest you'll probably want to go to keep droop would be 21.5" in the front.

Honestly if you have the money, invest in a nice jack.

One bolt each side at the lower a arm to disconnect.

A big floor jack is nice to have, as well.
