I went through and read a bunch of the posts related to torsion bars and decided to tackle that this evening. I'm at about about 2.5" of rake and I was hoping to raise the front and get it a little closer to 1". I'm running the OME HD lift with 864 springs in the back. I've got a RTT, drawers, fridge and am pretty loaded for camping and usually keep it that way.
I spent a bunch of time playing with the torsion bars in the front but I could not get the front raised at all and still keep the 55mm of droop. I ended up right back to where they had been set leaving me with 2.5" of rake. Does this mean I need to re-index the t-bars? Or is it because the 864 springs are that much stiffer that they sit that much higher in the rear?
On a somewhat related note, I noticed that my passenger rear is about 3/4" lower than my driver side. The weight is pretty evenly distributed inside and on the vehicle. What might cause that?
