So I totally have screwed up...

I got my wife an 06 hundy. She loves it. A buddy of mine had an 01 he was parting out. So without checking I jump in the truck drive 4 hours each way and picked up his ARB bull bar and dropped off my wife's bumper as part of the trade.

Upon arrival home the 01 bumper is a little tall for the 06...

I go online... see that they are split 98-02 and 03-07... dang it.

Anyone successfully mounted an early ARB bumper to a 03-07?

I am more than willing to modify. I have a welder and can make stuff. Looking for some direction or help or basically trying to not get stabbed by my wife.

The bumper should bolt up no issue. There is no difference between the years for bumper mounting. Hence why slee, dissent, BIOR, etc all sell 1 bumper for all years. The difference in the ARB bumpers is simply styling changes.

It didn't bolt right up, but we did get it mounted. I agree that their shouldn't be much difference in them, but the fit wasn't the same. I will post a photo or two tomorrow. the wife is happy... lol we had to remove some of the thin metal bracing behind the grille to get everything to line up.

I had to do the same thing on my 99 LX for a Sahara bar. I hadnt heard anyone else mention this anywhere so I thought it was just an LC-LX difference. Here's a shot of the part hitting the bumper before we cut it
