I am just finishing up a 2UZ install into my 40. The engine is out of a Tundra, so the oil pan was a front sump. I purchased a 2UZ 4Runner #1 and 2 oil pan with the rear sump, but unfortunately, the sump is toward the passenger side (on top of the front drive shaft).
So, I'm hoping a 100 series oil pan is a rear sump toward the driver's side. If anybody could snap a couple pictures for me, I'd greatly appreciate it! Directly under the oil pan, and the relation to the front drive shaft. I'm sure there might be belly pans or skid plates in the way, but maybe I'll get lucky and catch somebody with theirs off
Here's what I've spent 2 years on, and getting close to done!
Thanks in advance
