I am in the process of replacing the evaporator on my FJ62. I have a new expansion valve, but I cant seem to find any schematic that tells me what the electrical item attached to the small line is. Sorry that I dont have a pic to post. My guess is it's the pressure switch and the line it's on is the liquid line tube, but I can't seem to find the info to confirm it so I can order new stuff.

Thx!

JT

As previously stated - it is NOT there. Thanks though.

is it on this schematic?

Not there either. If you look at the SOR page, you can see the connector that is for the afore-mentioned electrical item just below and to the left of the #35, but not the item itself. Couldn't find it in the FSM either. I am double checking the FSM though just to make sure I didnt overlook it. Weird stuff...

didn't scroll down far enough. it's there. The thing with the wires on the second page! Now...just gotta get one ordered. At least I have part numbers now - Thanks!

Those are not the part numbers but more like a part location number. I don't know what part you need so I can't give you the part number. But if you print the drawing out and take it to your dealer he should be able to find it.

Are you talking about the copper wire coming off the top of it, with a coil at the end? If so, that's the temp sensor. It adjusts the flow of refrigerant based on the evaporator core temperature.
