Need 45 help

i'm looking for a stock headache rack for my '69 longwheel base 45.


also looking for pics on rear bumpers and the best way to mount one.
i want to build one just don't know if i want to build a stock looking one or one that will really help? so show me you bumpers

I don't think 45's came stock with a bumper.

I built my own. I don't think I have any shot of ot other than my avatar.

ya the more i check around the more i see none of them have them. i want to build one so i can pull my boat and to help protect it from others out there.
i guess i'm just going to have to go for it and see what i come up with.

I can take some pics of my Confer rear bumper in a few days still have not mounted it

Pictures of my bumper in this thread https://forum.ih8mud.com/fj45-owners-club/431824-tail-light-housing.html It is pretty close to the one Confer made. Attaches by a C channels welded on both sides to the back of the bumper, wide suface on top. Then a plate welded to the end of the C channel and that palte is bolted to the rear crossmember. Truck is out of town but I may have some pictures how it mounted at home. On the second page of that thread Bear posted a picture of a stock bumpeerette for the FJ45LP-B pickup. Those would not be any good for towing.

That is most fugly, and decreases the departure angle to almost 0.

Are you sure that is factory, or is it maybe a local dealer option?

Stick with the bumperettes and a bolt on receiver hitch and be done.
