Welcome and nice to hear from you.Hello All,
I just found this thread while looking for other cruiser enthusiasts. I live in Wayne and would like to get connected for community and trips.
I obtained, after much patience, a 95 HD J80 VX out of Central America. 5 speed, triple locked. Picked it up in AZ and drove it home. Surprised it made it. Had to do a bunch of reliability work under the hood. It’s better now, but needs to be tuned at bit. This interior is OK, lots of broken tabs, so loose parts. I put in a sleeping platform and 60” full extension drawers. So it has a stove and sink. I need to take it on a shakedown camping trip. Let me know what other threads I should subscribe to.

I like the Loess Hills idea. I’m out of town for work next week, otherwise I’d be there Thursday too.Welcome and nice to hear from you.
I would like to see more get togethers - and rotate around as we have enthusiast all around. one thing being bounced around too, for example, is a fall trip up the Loess Hills in IA and end up Sioux City/Decatur area for fall colors.
Erik and I were talking about meeting in Ashland next week to begin planning what trails and also have a meet/greet those going to CO and talk about the trip/what to expect. What route to get there.
We are talking meeting next Thursday (Ashland) to discuss trails for the week. If others show-up awesome.
Yes I did - And I think a found a route least traveled to Cinnamon Pass - I can send you the gpx file too - Carson Ghost Town trail to Wager Gulch - then Left on Cinnamon. The turn onto Carson is south of Cinnamon Pass (south of Lake City) -yet north of Stony Pass on Route 149 - Anyway will be doing some more investigations. You rang?
I am up for that - really anyplace.July 6th works well for me; as of now I should be able to make it just about any time that day.
Ashland is a good middle of the way spot - there is also a Brewery / Pizza place in Gretna that's a bit closer for the Omaha folks if we wanted to met there. Pretty open place, good space for bigger groups. It's called Heavy Brewing.
I’m not seeing other suggestions, so the next question is what time?July 6th works well for me; as of now I should be able to make it just about any time that day.
