The wife and I are heading to Bryson City for a few days then on towards Brevard and around the Pisgah area, then towards MT Mitchell. Trying to find some off the beaten path sites that have a shower house and power but not real commercialized. Any ideas?

Mt Pisgah campground has showers.
Davidson River has them
North Mills has them

Biggest issue is getting a site there this weekend. They are going to be packed.

I'll be up in Pisgah camping with the girls this weekend.

We are going second week in June, no way I'd fight the crowds anywhere this weekend. Looks like when we leave Bryson City I'm headed to a remote low traffic spot near Brevard in Balsam Grove called "at the ridge". Then prob to Black Mtn camp ground at the base of Mt Mitchell. That's prob my favorite spot to camp.
