I’ve come to the realization I won’t have time to do anything with my ‘73 FJ40 project anytime soon, so I’m offering it up for sale. I have some extra parts for it, the rig can be purchased with or without the extras.
Pollux orange factory soft top 1973 FJ40 for sale. The Pollux orange FJ40s aren’t very common. Fairly solid rig with clear Virginia title. I have owned the Cruiser for about 8 years. It’s been stored inside the entire time I’ve had it, was under a tarp in a field when I bought it.
The Cruiser is not currently running, I do not know the condition of the original F-engine. I was planning to do a 2F swap. I did clean and prime the floorboards soon after buying it.
There are a couple of places in the floorboards that need repair. There is some rust in the rear quarters, but not terrible. The tailgate and rear sill have the worst rust.
I did swap in 1979 FJ40 axles (that I’d prefer to keep depending on the potential buyer) but have the stock axles I removed. The Cruiser is stock and original other than that and the rear cutout flares.
