Just a question for those with navigation and live in the cold states. If the temp is below 25F my navigation reads "Loading" is this just my problem or an issue with all Toyota systems.
Thanks
MJM

we have not experinced that problem. we've had multiple failures of the cd/dvd changer, but none that have effected the navi system and none that were resulting from temperature (hi/lo)

get it chked out.

Thanks I just wanted to make sure

Just wanted to make sure befor we go to the dealer and let them know.

Sounds like a crook electronic chip that can't handle the cold, definitely a "please fix under warranty" job. I had a radio in a previous vehicle with a low temp prob, you could hardly hear the radio when cold, so you would turn it up flat out to just hear it, then down the road 20 minutes later when the cab warmed up it would start working again an blow your ears off!

No problem with navigation at 0ºF. There is also no delay on screen transitions. It seems you have a problem with reading DVD. I bought my 01LC used with extended warranty (Infiniti – the best one they offer) and it does not cover navigation related repairs. I hope the factory one will!
