I think a few folks have already hinted at a default setting that I have turned off. You can reference the picture below, but goto GENERAL SETTINGS and scroll down until you see "AUTO SCREEN CHANGE"...simply toggle that "feature" Off.
For me, I hope in the vehicle and go straight to R with no delay before the rear camera pops up. The screen that has the "CONTINUE" button quickly disappears once I shift into reverse.
