Hi all,
I just completed the Nav Delete on my 2003 LC. I filmed the process and updated some of the diagrams. I will be posting it in the next month or some on my YouTube channel. The video will be as detailed as possible and will include links to all the required.

These kits are not cheap and they are becoming scarce.

My overseas source, Shahab Akbar, says he isn’t seeing them as much. So, if you are interested, get them now while you still can. Hit him up on Facebook. He only has 5 kits left. He is a legit guy and I bought two kits from him. Takes about 30-45 days to get them once they are ordered.

Thanks,
Squ1d

Interested if you can get a kit for a 2004 LX with wood trim. I understand the wood nav delete parts have become scarce but you never know. Thanks!

Wood trim highly unlikely. That would be an eBay purchase. Even the trim now is repro from Taiwan. Originals are non-existent and brittle after 20 plus years.

Thanks for the info, I will pass for now. Strong preference on my end to keep the OEM wood look (I know it's ugly but matching black plastic and wood is even uglier!). Appreciate the quick reply.

Copy that. Mostly likely it would be silver, not black. Wood kits available on eBay and google the trim kits. A couple places make full trim kits for about $300

I would love to get a kit, harnesses, pigtails etc., the whole enchilada : )
I'd like to SEE the parts so I understand what's included. I've got a 2004 LC.

I would be very interested in a PnP system. My dream is the OE HVAC Controls, paired with a CC3 Teyes, or similar. That would be epic. I'm not a fan of on-screen HVAC, the only reason the OEM exists in my car is a lack of options, and the fact that there are still some physical buttons on the OE unit.

Some more info would be helpful. There are different boards and components required depending on the year and model.

What years/models would your imported kits fit? 03-05?

Are these used or new?

Ballpark pricing might help too.

Appreciate you trying to organize some options for folks.

Do you have any pics of this installed? I guess I am not clear on the wood trim vs black as noted in an earlier post.

Hey guys,

So after sleeping on it, I decided I do not want to spend my time buying, selling and wiring non-nav units. I want to get out and drive my rig and not be the nav delete supplier.

I will answer some questions that came up and my install video should show you pretty much step-by-step how to do it. Expect that on my YouTube channel in the next month or so. I’ll post when it’s out.

Answers:
1. Cost. These kits are becoming very hard to find. Like I said, my supplier only has 5 complete kits left and he is not getting anymore. When the 100 series came out, apparently most people wanted the Nav option at the time, so those are the vehicles he is seeing. The cost from him is $900 now. Supply and demand.

The parts to make the harness will cost around $150 if you have no tools.

And, it costs your time, effort and breath for swearing.

2. No these kits are not new. They are from vehicles 20 year old vehicles

3. Why would you do this? Yes there are cheaper options. I had an after market Teyes unit and it was crap for a plethora of reasons. If you are driving around town, it will probably be fine. It will annoy you for off-roading.

Or, you want a decent aftermarket radio

Or, you like tinkering.

4. What color? You can’t be picky since there are very few kits and they are from 20 year old cars. However, if this is important to you, there are a couple places that make full trim replacement kits for the 100 series in many different color options. You can google it.

It boils down to what you want and your end goals, and, of course, your budget.

Hope that breaks it down.

I have a 2003 and am interested in a harness or part numbers for pins and connectors

I will post everything with the video. The video will be 2003 specific but will also work for 2004+. It can be a bit confusing, but I think my video will clarify everything
That will be a great resource. Thanks for putting it together. There were some minor wiring changes having to do with air bag lights, etc for production dates post 06/2005 (2006 and 2007 model years). So you may be safe advertising the wiring as valid for 03-05?

Look forward to the video

Thanks for the info. I didn’t know that. Will do

It is plug and play after everything is wired up. The reason people use the Teyes is to avoid this. If you want to go this route, I suggest a better quality head unit. No reason to go Teyes if you want physical buttons.
