Emperical data aside (Sorry Doug, I did the swap 1 1/2 yrs ago) I'm with Clown and Boston M on the DBA'a. I can tell you for certain that the brake performance coming over and down Wof Creek Pass, CO (10,850 ft) numerous times has been excellent.
I've ran cross drilled and slotted rotors on an 86 4x4 truck and also on my tacoma now with no problems what so ever. As far as having debris getting lodged, I haven't experienced it or seen it around here.

Any comments on the likelyhood of a rock or other foriegn object getting lodged in a slot or hole on the slotted/crossdrilled rotors and preventing proper pad contact. Has anyone seen that happen or like me just hear it talked about as a theorectical possiblitity.

$1100.00 Brake Upgrades...

Not to hi jack this thread but i just got the DBA XS and 7 pcs JDM SS brake lines not too long ago.Right now i wont install it 'cuz i still have 4 cross drilled Brembo rotors.But we'll see what happen later on after i install the 7 pcs SS brake lines.These totally replace all of stock factory 7 pcs rubber brake lines(also included the line goes to ABS)

BM aka Kevin, I got Front and Rear DBA XS rotors from these guys while the 7 pcs JDM SS brake lines i ordered from online direct from Japan.Reason i did check with couple of U.S vendors, mostly they only carry 3 pcs SS brake lines for the LC 80-S.But as matter of fact when i looked underneath 80-s there are 7 rubber lines need to be replace.

Do you have a website or telephone contact in ENGLISH - as I cannot decipher the online when going there.... ;p

I too would like to order the (7) piece set, instead of spending the $ on a 3 piece set (which to me is silly only replacing 3 lines with SS when there are 7)...

What was the price for the (7) piece set shipped to the US? Again, since I cannot read or decipher the text, I am unable to know what the pricing is....

Also, when you ordered, did you get a English speaking person, or will I have to learn Asian to talk to someone to place such an order?
