I know this is my first post, but I’ve been watching this forum for years – just never had anything I felt was worthwhile to post until now. This forum is partially how I came to decide on the LX570 after combing through threads here and there. Anyway, I’ve decided keeping my LX just doesn’t make sense for me so it’s going up for sale. I drive quite a bit and usually by myself so the LX as a daily isn’t smart. That being said, since I’ve owned it for this short amount of time, I’ve done my best to treat it well. There is a full binder with the vehicle history back to it’s original Delivery Certificate as well as the window sticker. I’m kind of a car nut, so I try to do this with all my vehicles.

When I bought it, the previous owner had backed into something so I replaced the bumper as well as the tow hitch cover and a tail light. The windshield was cracked too, so I replaced that with a factory Lexus one since they are thicker than aftermarket. The dealer did all the work.

I also looked at different wheels and tires and decided on the BFG K02 paired with the 18” TRD Pro wheels made by BBS. They are a forged wheel. There is no curb rash on any of them. They probably have a couple thousand miles on them and look basically new. I did get the factory black lug nuts as well. I plan on including the original wheels and tires that have very little wear on them as well.

Oh, and one thing that the dealer says needs to be done is the blower assembly – the rear circulation damper is broken. They are saying this is like $2,300 and I think they’re crazy. The heat and AC work great so I didn’t see a reason to do that.

Other recent work includes rear brakes, machined rotors, did the 180k service at the dealer back in November, and also replaced the radiator and water pump. Oh, also had ceramic coating back in July of 2021.

Ok, without going on and on – please let me know if you have any questions. I have a bunch of photos that I can send to people. I will just post some of the main ones here. I’ll do my best to be as honest as possible about any condition issues – I can also Facetime video if you’re interested. There are little dings here and there and I would say the headlights could use a refresh.

I'm dropping this to $28k OBO - want to get this sold. Really great LX570. I do have the title in hand as well. Thanks!

Reminds me so much of the 2008 LX570 I picked up locally earlier this month, down to the same 18" Black TRD Pro wheels.

If you post a few shots of the undercarriage/rust condition, you'll likely save yourself a few PMs.

For any prospective buyers out there, my headlights looked a similar shade of Yellow. $18 for the Sylvania Headlight Restoration kit and 45 mins of elbow grease will have them looking literally new.

I will do that - thanks for the suggestion!

Here is what I have of the undercarriage. Nothing on the lift, but hopefully this is helpful for people.

did you grab the white one that swung through a Sewell dealership in Dallas?

Ok, I'm interested in seeing more detail. Will send a DM.

That’s a clean looking undercarriage and a decent price. Someone on the east coast should jump on that and fish their way back to Virginia.

Thanks for the comment - I actually had someone say they thought the undercarriage had too much rust, which really surprised me. I think I might take some better photos because for some reason there is kind of a red tint to the photos that makes it look like it when in reality it is indeed quite clean. This LX hasn't been in salted road situations so I don't know how it could be much better for it's age.

Price drop to $27k.
While I don't "need" to sell, I really also don't "need" to have this in my driveway, lol.

You appear to be missing an e30 cabriolet... I'd offer mine in trade, but don't have access to enough other cash to make up the difference currently. Good luck with the sale!

Ha ha - well we are a bit of an e30 family, lol. My prized e30 M3 is in the garage :)

Will send you a PM. I'm located in Boise and would love to check it out this week.

Ok - doing another price drop to $26K. I wish I could revise the original post, but it won't let me edit it for some reason.
