I know this is my first post, but I’ve been watching this forum for years – just never had anything I felt was worthwhile to post until now. This forum is partially how I came to decide on the LX570 after combing through threads here and there. Anyway, I’ve decided keeping my LX just doesn’t make sense for me so it’s going up for sale. I drive quite a bit and usually by myself so the LX as a daily isn’t smart. That being said, since I’ve owned it for this short amount of time, I’ve done my best to treat it well. There is a full binder with the vehicle history back to it’s original Delivery Certificate as well as the window sticker. I’m kind of a car nut, so I try to do this with all my vehicles.

When I bought it, the previous owner had backed into something so I replaced the bumper as well as the tow hitch cover and a tail light. The windshield was cracked too, so I replaced that with a factory Lexus one since they are thicker than aftermarket. The dealer did all the work.

I also looked at different wheels and tires and decided on the BFG K02 paired with the 18” TRD Pro wheels made by BBS. They are a forged wheel. There is no curb rash on any of them. They probably have a couple thousand miles on them and look basically new. I did get the factory black lug nuts as well. I plan on including the original wheels and tires that have very little wear on them as well.

Oh, and one thing that the dealer says needs to be done is the blower assembly – the rear circulation damper is broken. They are saying this is like $2,300 and I think they’re crazy. The heat and AC work great so I didn’t see a reason to do that.

Other recent work includes rear brakes, machined rotors, did the 180k service at the dealer back in November, and also replaced the radiator and water pump. Oh, also had ceramic coating back in July of 2021.

Ok, without going on and on – please let me know if you have any questions. I have a bunch of photos that I can send to people. I will just post some of the main ones here. I’ll do my best to be as honest as possible about any condition issues – I can also Facetime video if you’re interested. There are little dings here and there and I would say the headlights could use a refresh.

In your original post - you said the dealer says the "rear circulation damper" is broken - should that be "recirculation" - and do you know if it's for the front or rear A/C?

I would have to go back and check the exact wording. I know it was the rear.

It says "Replace blower assembly (HVAC recirculation damper is broken)". I have a mechanically inclined son that is 21 and did this on a Sequoia for a family member, but never got around to it. And the AC works so I didn't see it as much of a priority.

Im surprised. the miles are high, but who cares if you have done all the maintenance. Gas prices are rough right now, but that still shouldn’t matter too much. hope you sell it soon!
