Just got back from Nahatlach Lake. Took the family up there in the 80 for a few nights. No wheeling involved but a really nice spot with no yahoo's breaking beer bottles everywhere if anyone is looking for a great family spot. Its free camping as well. Go into Boston Bar and cross over to the Nort side of the Fraser and continue NE on the logging road. Quiet, Clean and free lake side camping with small beaches. Here are a few pic's of the Lake.

I love the look of those silty turquoise lakes. Any fish? I've heard there is grizzly so there must be fish.

Kwoiek is also another out of the way lake in that area that is beautiful.

I saw a few small boats out trolling but don't know if the landed any. I had no luck with a lure from shore but I had the kids throwing rocks and the dog chasing my lure in every time I cast. No surprise that I got skunked. We were at Lake Koocanusa by Fernie the weekend before and I was hauling in the Kokanee like crazy. I caught 6 in six straight casts. The one fish I kept had nothing in his belly so the were hungry. Even the kids were catching them on disney fishing rods. That was fun, I landed 15 kokanee and a bunch of trout that day.
