Mystery connector

While searching for where my reverse light switch connects to, I found this connector underneath the parking brake pivot on the firewall. Any chance that there is an intermediate harness that plugs into this connector and then plugs into my reverse light switch? See pic below.

I've looked through a couple of FJ40 and FJ55 schematics and they all show RL and LR wires going to the switch. Since both of those are present on that connector, I'm going to jump them to see if the reverse lights work (fire extinguisher will be ready ).

Success! Now I just need to make a short harness to the switch on the tranny.

As I remember there was a short harness (that I was missing) to connect the reverse lights, can't remember if mine was in the same location...
