The hose from the air cleaner to the grill was very tired. So I fixed it. But I was running out of duct tape so I had this brilliant idea. I would take the stock intake pipe that came off my daughters '02 TJ 4.0l when we put a cold air intake on that and marry it to pieces parts of the Toy hose.
Well, that didn't work exactly 'cause the Toy bits were too big, rotten and bendy, but I did cut the 's' bend off the end of the Jeep part and it hooked t'other end right on to the airhorn. Doesn't go through the hole in the front but I reckon that since it's sucking and the air from the front of the rig is blowing, it's all good, eh?
Seems to run better but I changed other stuff so who knows. Beats the massive wad of duct tape anyway, eh?
Oh, yeah. My cousin Mikey has already busted my chops about a Jeep part on an Elsie, so get over it. Really.
