Just got done putting together my latest cruiser project. So I decided to share some about all three.

First: My 1994 FZJ80 with176,000 factory miles, leather and factory lockers, ARB front bumper, OME heavies front and rear. 35's and 17" factory Tacoma/ 4Runner wheels. besides that, completely stock everything including speakers and radio. still planning on WARN 9000lb winch to install, building rear swing out spare tire and jerry can carries for all three cruisers.

Second: My 1991 FJ80. 212,000k miles, head gasket done at 183,000k, Open diffs, cross drilled and slotted rotors on the front, front birf rebuilds on both sides, OME heavies front and rear with 2" coil spacers in the front. Pre Runner style front bumper, halogen projector headlights with halos, removed flares and herculined, custom rock sliders, 35's on steel 15" wheels. 10" infinity basslink,CB radio, 1000w 110v power inverter to run small 110 appliances (keeping the girls happy), dual battery setup. soon to get roof rack, and rear swing out bumper.

Third: a 1991 FJ80, slee 4" heavies front and rear with OME shocks, 37" pro comp x-terrains on 17" steelies. just did a head-gasket on it, runs like a champ. open diffs front and rear. only FJ80 i've owned that doesn't have a moon roof. a serious work in progress. broken in to before I bought it and I'm still trying to decide if I want to do a custom dash or buy a factory replacement..? dual battery setup in progress, removed smog pump and emission stuff ( power unleashed). new window regulators and motors on two windows. rear swing out and sliders are being built right now. front bumper and winch mount still in progress.

I'll be posting as each of these progress.:beer::beer:

sweet, nice lineup

It's one of the few addictions that doesn't require group therapy. I would say mud fits the bill except it would be the only therapy group to encourage the addiction as well as opening the wallet for more. :D

very cool. you just need one more and then........

4 more to go and you will have one for each day of the week!

Howdy! Nice collection, but why all the head gaskets on 3FE engines? Didn't think they were a problem like their newer engines. John

Do you have three just 'cuz? Or are they used differently, or ???

I am a little jealous!

No, the head gasket on the dark one in the middle was solely for preventative maintenance. the one on the right, it just developed over time I reckon. I bought it with the head-gasket blown. here is a pic of the head-gasket being done on it.

first one was starting, second was during, third was after the head-gasket was re-installed.

I really like the look of the 4runner wheels on your first one

No special reason, just like my cruisers. I moved to Lubbock, TX from Colorado Springs, CO and there I had a use for them, now it's just a passion. I sell one, buy another and so on... the one on the right is the first to go. might sell it as is..? then the one in the middle... and so on.. haha:beer:

I don't know, did you see the note he wrote on the window from his cruiser to himself?

Nice I love the looks of 37 on cruiser fits the it just tad better than 35 with the 80s! I'm jealous, I told the wife look he gets to have 3!:flipoff2:

I thought modding 2 cruisers was bad! Nice collection.
