Hello, I've always had 100 series Land Cruisers but this body style has always been my favorite. I found this Land Cruiser in California the other day and had to buy it sight unseen. I thought by the pictures I could'nt go wrong but you never know....

1982 FJ60 with 55k original miles. 1 owner, all maintenance records and most important, no rust. Everything looks original on it, even a silver looking tape player. Anyway, I know enough to be dangerous on these 60's.

My plans are to OME it with 33x10.5's and steelies... Unless I chicken out and decide I should keep it original.

What do you think?

That thing is awesome!!! How did you find it? I scour the California CL all the time, everyday and never saw that one pop up?

All original paint and the service records are from toyota dealers.

I found it on ebay and it was with a broker. He sold it to me on the spot. Kind of an ebay poacher deal.....sorry to others who were bidding.

The engine compartment looks brand new. I'm excited. So those aren't the original wheels? Also, I'm getting two big plastic bins full of oem parts. Score!

Nice, I love that brown color! This is a very low miles rig! Enjoy it....

AMAZING! That one belongs in a museum!

Looks like you ar missing some rain gutter chrome cover on the pass. side, so I would find some and add it back on.

Then nice shiny stock rims.

The tires look good, what size? you may be able to live with some 31's or 32's if they will fit with no lift.

If you do get a lift keep your factory springs in case you or the next owner wants to put it back to original shape.

And for god sake don't wheel it, cut it, dent it, and keep it away from the crazies drivers.

I like the interior floor rubber, is that a cover or a carpet replacement? Got any more photos of that? and any idea where the original owner got it?

The cruiser got put on a truck today and it's coming to KS where it will only get driven on days that are nice and dry.

I will do some searches to find out where I can find that chrome piece, which I didn't even notice......

I will find out where the flooring came from. I was told it's covering the factory carpet. It looks like the PO did a nice job.

Don't worry, I won't wheel it. I attached a picture of what I wheel full time.

I can't wait to get a picture of the engine bay for everyone to look at, it looks new. I will keep updating as this progresses.

Congrats - nice looking 60!

That thing is too clean. Very nice 60.

I just noticed that the rain gutter chrome is still on the front half but removed from the rear. Are you planning on replacing the rear piece or just de-chroming the gutter?

I ordered the rear chrome piece for the rain gutter for 34.00 from toyota today. That was easy....

Nice cruiser man. I like the brown when its all shined up

I like the brown. Definitly get a set of factory chrome wheels. Love the floor rubber. Wouldn't mind having some of that myself.
