Pretty mint looking unit there, Bruce...good job.

Thanks for the pics Stoney.

I would have loved to have seen a couple locker levers hanging there,

but I LOVE that auto tranny.

Good going there.

Must I move to Canada to git me a 74?

Very clean looking ride. I hope you get some great times out of her. BTW did you name her yet?

How much do these beasts cost anyway?
Maybe my wife will........................................................................................................?

Ya right!!!!!!!!!!

We'll make room for you, Tom. :D

I wonder if it would be possible to buy a BJ-74 and register it up there with somebody, and drive it down here in the US?

Isnt that what some guy did with a BJ75? Wasnt there a TOyota Trails write up a while back about that?

Now I just have to find a Canuck willing to do that?

Maybe if I paid him a few hundred a month for registration RENT?

LOL!!
yah, that's it, a BJ75, uh huh.
i think that was a once in a life time occurance. if someone was to think of doing this again they must consider all the repercusions, if you get in an accident then there will be NO coverage from either end which means that even though it is another country both parties could end up with nothing for hte rest of their lives. there is also a chance for a smuggling charge to be applied. the worse part is that you would be looking over your shoulder for as long as the vehicle is illegal.
you would be further ahead to buy a frame and build up a cruiser legal in the states. a 7* series is a nice unit but then so is a nice 40 series. a rare 45 series pickup with a 1HZ in it is a very capable, appealing truck. the 75 series is nice but so is the 45 series, i should know i have own lots of 45s over the years and there really isn't a whole lot of difference. add PS, sound deadner, comfortable seats and a 1HZ and the 45 series will be just as nice.
cheers
