Hey everyone. Currently in the USAF stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Found this hzj73 in northern Honshu and had it shipped down here to Oki. Its a '92, with 196,000 km on the odo. Previous owner was a Toyota dealer mechanic, so the timing belt was done at 100k and 191k, tranny was flushed/serviced at 186k. Truck was originally red and it was resprayed to the current black and can't say Im a fan of the white grill! Few spots of rust that I'll have to address but for the most part, really solid. Everything works as it should. First order is new tires, as its currently sitting on a set of winter tires which really won't be needed here in Okinawa. I don't go back stateside until April 2018, so the plan is to amass as many backup parts as possible while they are cheap and abundant! While I'd love to replace the saggy stock leafs, that will have to wait until I get back. Ultimately I'd like to paint the body a nice dark Aggie maroon with a charcoal gray FRP top. I'll post more pictures soon!
