At last i got my 2005 105 powered by 1HZ engine. It used to be owned by a touristic Co. so its manual TR, manual windows, manual lock, manual hubs, and ugly side steps and OK interior..etc
Here are the pics for day 1.

So far I've installed a 180L fuel tank, new headlights and a front bumper and remove the uglyA$$ side steps (pics later)

Plans:
- Winch
- OME or similar
- Snorkel
- 2nd Bat
- Extra spare wheel
- Roof driving lights
- Awning
and maybe a paint job
I'm open for any suggestion :)

105 being a very ugly looking LC has lots of potential when spent well on it. Congrats

Drool.

Excellent! Love the rear doors and carrier.

Aluminum rims from a Lexus or LC?? (those steel rims are cool but really heavy)

Keep the pictures coming.

i agreee with the ALU rims, everything will come in time :)

Next step

well started few days ago the next step:
1- clean A/C parts
2- remove rust under the mates
3- Sound and heat isolation (if needed)
4- Clean interior
5- Grease/Lub seats (have 4 of them)
6- Install new Antenna
7- install snorkel
8- Adjust eadlights and Fog lights

And as this is a home-made build up then i had to have my home-made working area. I found old steel pipes that i welded up together and made my own shade (u got to try our sun :) ). With a couple of light bulbs and a pair of wires, i got light and power for my tools :). That might not sound a lot for most of u, but for me to do all of this alone is an achievement :)))
well what i did so far was:
- Remove all seats and interior plastics: Found TONS of sand, 1/2 Swiss Frank, tons of seeds,...etc (see pics) :censor:
- done some cleaning, but still more is needed:ban:
- removed some A/C ducts and the blower: to be washed
- Glued some plastic parts that was miss-treated in the past :(

Next steps:
- get rust remover
- get isolation
- Grease/Lub seats (have 4 of them)
- Install new Antenna
- install snorkel
- Adjust headlights and Fog lights

Any more ideas while everything is out???

Oh yes, i forgot to say that i HATE the steel rims!! they are too damn heavy!
Alum rims in plan for sure

The rims may be heavy but they look great; I like them. Does it have a front winch? The bumper looks heavier than stock? Love the stick shift too! Could you post a pic of the dash which shows all controls/switches?
I was in Abu Dhabi for several months a couple of years ago and we went "dune bashing" in 105's, they are very capable trucks.
Please keep us posted, and be safe with the current turmoil over there.
Ned

What size are they? If they are any thing other than 18" ship them to me. I love heavy ugly steel wheels.

Keep up the progress!

They are 16", i have 6 of them.
