My wife and I actually liked the decals. (Still our favorite style) We ended up leaving them for a while and my wife finally noticed they were already degrading so she reluctantly told me to remove them. The paint stayed pretty good for many years. The red painted top faded first.

39×12 50 r17 Kanati Mud Hogs mounted on 17× 8.5 -0- offset bronze 703 Method Race Wheels. I still need to do some (conservative) fender chopping. Super stoked!

I did a little fender trimming today. I cut out about 1.5" of material out the rear fenderwells. On the front fenders I cut about 1.5" along the front/top area and then tapered it to about 3" at the door. Welding in some patch panels for the rear will come later.

Are you running any spacers with the rims having a 4.8” back spacing? I’ve been looking at methods with the bead grip for my next set of tires but I’m worried about the 4.8” rubbing on the front leafs.

17×8.5 -0- offset (4.75 backspacing)
Yes, I've have 1.5" spacers up front. The 39 ×12.50s do make contact and rub the leaf spring at full lock. (I think 37×12.50 would clear) The rear axel is out of a wider ifs truck so no spacers needed there. If the rubbing is too problematic, I'll switch to ifs hubs with the spacers for more width. 👍🏼
