My Lexus app service history no more? (1 Viewer)

Well, I bought a 2nd lx570. 2017 1 owner with lots of servocr history from the local Lexus dealer. Thought I’d log in and see what past issues the previous owner had, and plugged the vin into my Lexus website. No dice.

Lexus app stated previous owners history is private. . Anyone else had that issue?

It took a long time for the service history to load when I was shopping for LX’s again this past fall.

I don’t remember the exact sequence or which page I had to navigate to, but something about the process was different than when I was shopping for LX’s back in 2021

I've had mixed results the last 6 months or so. I just logged into my account and there was no history showing (for my only vehicle) although I've viewed it many times in the past. I deleted my vehicle, logged out, logged back in and reentered my VIN. Now the history is there.

It is definitely not intuitive to figure out. This is what worked for me: I made sure that the vehicle in question was listed as my preferred vehicle. From there, I could view the full history.

Update. I made my new car the primary car (I own multiple Lexus). Fixed the problem. The good news is I have confirmed 1 owner southern truck with a complete service history from Lexus. Also, no problem issues that made the owner trade it. Clean truck!
