If you are still sitting on the original seats from 2010 (not sure how many miles they have been used) I would guess that most newer seats
are different/better. Just guessing, but with 14yrs of use they may need some help and could be refreshed from an upholstery shop.
280k miles. 08. Original seats.

Ironically, it feels the same as my wife's 19 LX570 and her 20 HE.

Same. Drove my friends 2021 with 10k and felt identical

Amazing that they have held up so well, guess you have the seats that Toyota intended and designed. I have been pleased with the seats and found them very comfortable as my commuter to Vail and Breckenridge slopes and for a couple longer road trips from Denver to Bozeman (Big Sky). You might search for options on this thread as some have replaced their seats with MB seats. Thanks for dropping your observations here. Interesting to hear from someone with extensive cruiser experience.

I’m curious to hear more of your thoughts on the 200 being easier to work on than an 80 or 100. I’ve never owned either, but lusted after them for years before I ultimately bought my 200. I’ve found the 200 to be very easy to work on, just curious how the 80 or 100 are harder. Logic would have me guess the older models are more simple mechanically.

Well so far regarding replacing the door locks, installing grom, and replacing blower motor, the dash on these is considerably easier to take apart and access things.
