Where in the U.S.?

I like that setup! How could I get one of those for my 1HZ here in the States? Is there a good site on the net?

Thanks,
Michael

Not sure about the US but just about every truck, bus, or tractor(ie Land Rover ) has this style of filter. There is a huge variety of models in the range including twin filter brackets, water seperators, etc. They've been around forever especially all of the older technology diesels. There are various names for the set up including C.A.V., Lucas 269, Delphi. The good thing about the set up is that they are easy to get hold of and all the bits are interchangeable.:cheers:

Do they come standard with a priming pump? Which model is your's?
Thanks for the info.

I'm not sure of an OEM fitment with the primer pump, mine was bought brand new from the local diesel speciallist. Not sure of a part number, was a long time ago that I fitted it.

Some links;

http://www.mddistributors.com/filters.html

http://www.gympiediesel.com.au/

The last link is where my turbo was fitted. Highly recommended.
My filter was purchased from another local diesel mob that I won't name as I don't recommend them due to some dodgy work done on my 80.

Thanks for the great links! I know I am going with one of these filters now. I am dropping a 1HZ w/ a 1HD turbo into my 64 fj-40 and I think this will be the best way. Thanks again for all the links and info.
