I'm a little mortified myself.
Well done steaks slathered in glue factory runoff?
Trim the fat off a Top Round roast?

Step away from the grill, sir!

Until today I saw this I had no idea what Kitchen Bouquet was actually for.
That's the first time I've ever seen it used that way. It is usually used to color gravies and sauces. You know that un-naturally brown color gravy you get in cafeterias and on buffets? Kitchen Bouquet baby! Swanson brings it into their frozen dinner plant in train tankers.

I just thought it was just brown dye. I tasted a dab on my finger one time (ages ago) and it pretty much tasted like... nothing good.
