Hi . Will throw all my questions here instead of making threads
Got a few questions I can't figure out cars ,girls and manuals and this old cruiser is a bit of a mystery ..

On another thread I looked for interchangeable window wipers .
Some one mentioned hilux but I'm Nordics and might be a problem too unless I can verify ..

Also thought to remove the arm from the spring load and install new new arms from there with a new pin to hold it together ..
ANT thoughts on that would be of good Interest to me .

Question 2 .
I put 10w front parking lights from the 5w ones and it was working perfectly for a week . Perfect for winter with snow too.
But then I noticed both front left and right are not working .

I checked the fuse box near the front door under the steering wheel but all fuses seem good . Is there another fuse box or how to figure out this item . Rear parking is working and not changed from the stock items ..
Please help on that one .
With comments or a good thread link.

Thank you

Good question . It's 24v at the batteries . I think it has a lot of 12 volt converter install for the lights which are all over the place ..lol .I look at that then..cheers

Question3
Is there a comprehensive thread on the diesel pump tuning for economy or power?
1982 2h diesel 4.0ltr

Question4.
I want to run extra battery cables into the cabin from the 2x 12v =24V batteries .
I'm planning g 4x12 =24 volts to increase my cranking power and long life battery use with over night heater etc ..
What's the best way to run the 2x2 guage through the firewall ? 1982 HJ60 DIESEL ..

A couple of answers to a couple of your questions from an HJ61 owner...

Wiper arms - use the same 4Runner replacement for 60 series. Did mine and was simple and a huge difference.
Here is a link to that thread: 4Runner wiper arms

Bulbs - replace everything with LEDs. My system is 24v and most LEDs can go 12 or 24 so you are covered regardless of with the PO did.

Tuning pump for power - have not done this specifically but did tune it for a new turbo.

Batteries - so you want to add two batteries inside the cabin to add extra amps for cold starts? The two batteries in the cabin will be in series, but the leads for those will be in parallel to the batteries in the engine bay. Will need a wiring diagram for sure. Would a block heater help? As for running cables through the firewall I have utilized existing openings on the passenger side. You will need to make some new holes for those larger cables. I would think location would depend on where you have the batteries in the cabin, but passenger side is the easiest for access.

mine have a Wilson switch with 24v glow plugs and a block heater , starts like a champ.

my next move will be a circulator instead of the block heater ... that could give more heat to the engine and to the cabin too !
