So Yesterday I bought this 1990 Pzj70 and going to try and restore it. I bought it without an engine but I have a 1fz-f engine and gearbox to use. So im converting it to a fzj70. This isnt going to be easy but any help would do great from you guys here.

My, my, that poor beast has been neglected. I hope you have the time and resources to make it right and suitable for your requirements. Best wishes, sir!

thanks @61Mk+ im gonna try my best to get her up to date but with my current money its going to take a while but the body work will soon be done

Sounds good. I imagine that in a place like Jamaica (and do correct me if i'm wrong), power and acceleration isn't needed. This i mention as there is an advantage here, in that an engine with low power (and fuel consumption) isn't needed, so some torquey beast would do a lovely job. A 4.5 litre gasser will be more than you'll ever need, huh. Curiosity, is diesel readily available in Jamaica (no, i haven't been)?

@61Mk+ yes diesel is readily available in Jamaica. and I also believe the 4.5l gasser would be great so I cant wait to get it up and running. And you should visit Jamaica. Very lovely place. Also driving up in the mountains and such is a good experience. That of course if you don't have that by you.
