Stainless. Looks laser cut.
Overall very nice.
Not actually polished, at least not by my standards. Appears to have been machine grained or something.

yesterday was good and bad.
good news, carpet done. turned out excellent.
bad news, she didn't drive home under her own power. wasn't charging again and acts like fouled plugs. died as i got her into the garage. just in time for the rain to start. phew

generator said shorted armature. sorta wondering if that wasn't at least part of the missing problem.

little update. these guys called to lmk they'd rec'd my genny. said they will check it in the morning. couple hours later they cb and said they'd already inspected it, wanted to get ok to move forward. they will replace or rewind the armature. should be home next week.
pretty impressed so far.

got a cb from the genny co. it's on the way back already. they built a new armature. the 86yo company owner built it. Definitely recommend.

been a minute on this one. ive done exactly nothing since the generator. i did get some more rubber for the hardtop. i did buy the wrong clear for the hardtop. not really sure why they offer anything other than glossy clear, but i digress.

my friend daniel took the liberty to build me a 3d printed fuse cover since the real one is unobtanium. finished version will be black.

installed the battery and she fired right up.
