In an effort to help the f250 pull the new crawler hauler I am installing dual 5000 pound air bags to keep the truck level while hauling.
I almost finished installing it tonight but two of the carriage bolts were too short. Hopefully I can find some tomorrow and finish the install up.
The install is pretty straight forward.

In the last photo you can see the bolt coming down that keeps the bracket close to the leaf springs. This two bolts are too short due to my truck having f350 blocks due to my 4.5 lift. The kit I bought is for an f250 with no lift. Or stock f250 blocks. I really want to finish this tomorrow and test drive the truck pulling the crawler hauler.

looking good Del, some nice projects moving along. that truggie looks like it could just walk through the Rubicon. hopefully you will conquer even greater challenges with it. Nice work buddy

Not much progress on the camper due to the rain. I did however finish up the airbags on the f250 and measured how much drop I get with the weight of the trailer.
The truck only sags 1/2 inch with the bags at 40 psi. The range for the bags is 40-60 psi.
the truck is sitting level which was exactly what I wanted.
have to do some adjustments because the trailer isn’t level now but will take care of that once I get the crawler loaded up and go get the the trailer weighed.
The weather is looking good until Sunday so I’m hoping I can pull off some more of the sealant tape and seal the camper properly with proflex RV.

Awesome. I have been thinking about swapping out my F350 springs for a non overload lighter spring and putting on bags for the ride quality.
