My buddy might join the Cruiser world.

The only thing wrong visually in the pics was some clear coat peel on the passenger side doors. Kind of an odd place for it to peal don't you think?

My first guess would be a shoddy repair job in the past on a two door repaint and clear coat. Hell for 3K I wouldn't make it a deal breaker though.

I would think there has to be something wrong too because that is too little money for a 97 based on the description he gave. I would keep calling him for your buddy. You never know, you could find that one person that doesn't have a clue as to what he has.

This guy have been listing that LX450 for some time now. Too bad that I've got a 94LC already or else I would snatched this one up quick.:D

Really? I haven't seen it this past week or the random searches I have done for Sh!ts & Giggles over the past couple of months. He had told me he just posted it so good to know that it has been for sale for a little while.

My buddy was in LA today so he is thinking it over and seeing if he really wants to get into a cruiser at the high end of his pocket book. I have given him all the advice I could and we are all the same in the beginning and want a virgin cruiser with low miles. Something about the mail gene I guess. In retrospect most of us probably would buy a cruiser off of MUD with baselines done and some mods out of the way. So I guess I will be looking at this one tomorrow with him after work or go back to the search.

Well it looks like my buddy will not be joining the Exclusive Land Cruiser club.... He has decided having an $8k R1 street bike toy and an $8K Cruiser toy is a little too much right now. So looks like he might be lowering his standards to like a $3K Trooper or Samy or Older Toyota Pick-up.
