I live in Moselle, just north of Hattiesburg.
I have not started a full build thread. I did that on the dune biege '75 and the red '77.
This is my stress relief hobby.
The frame is a 1993 FZJ80, fully locked. I rebuilt the front and rear axles and I did add locking hubs to the front along with new Nitro birfs.
The engine is a 1994-6 LT1 converted to an LT4 with Edelbrock LT4 heads, cam, and intake. Specs say it will produce slightly better than 400 HP.
The tranny is an H55 mated to a split case FJ60 style transfer case.
The body is by Aqualu acquired through RedLine Landcruisers, Justin, which is what he calls the FJ Ute.
I will post a few pictures to follow:

4Plus products built me a custom winch bumper for the front.

Wow. I thought this thread was just about a cross-member. Did not realize there was all this goodness going on in here. Very..very nice

Wow Gary! Can't wait to see this beauty!

awesome choice! if you need help or have questions about sourcing materials let me know

Gary, is this thing done?

If not, I'd love to come help you work on it! I'm out in Hattiesburg, and I've had a heck of a time finding anyone who loves land cruisers around here.

If it is, I'd love to go wheeling with ya!

working on the wiring. I'm using an American Autowire Highway 22 wiring kit. I am also trying to use as much FJ40 stuff as possible, like switches, steering column, glove box, etc.
The underside got several coats of sound deadening material and then Raptor liner, The floor also got Raptor.
