What did you end up using to strip the paint?
Bought a gallon of the gel type stripper then a scrapper then a 8 in grinder with a rubber flexable pad and 100 grit sand paper the a small grinder with a wire cone brush.took most of the day to do one side but when the guy said $250. to sand blast the outside NOT including the inside or underneith I figured what the heck, Im off this week so I,ll save that money for somthing later. Besides..... working on its half the fun...right?

Yes, the work is half the fun, it looks like I will be going the same route.

Wow! When you start a project you don’t was any time finishing. The air show was just last week. Great Job! I’ll try to get by to see it, the next time I’m in Alabama.
 
Just an update... built a fold out platform and installed a air taink for the tent, also have a 12v comp. still a ways to go, have to build some stabilizer jacks and water can mounts. tent airs up in about ten seconds. sorry about the phone pics.........well it wont load my phone pics....
