Muffler Replacement - DIY?

This is probably a dumb question but I think I only need two 90080-43028? Please correct me if I am missing something...

It's been a while since I did that work, but I had no parts left over, so you must need all 3!

I just replaced my muffler and had a leak between the cat and the intermediate pipe, so I replaced the gasket there too. You only need two if you are only replacing the muffler and leaving that intermediate pipe bolted to he cat.

The Bosal system is junk. Mine lasted 2 winters before is gave up and rusted. This is in Western NY with lots of snow and salt.
Bought a Walker and that has lasted longer so far. Do not wast your time with Bosal if you live in the rust belt.

Just learned this the hard way. Pipe over the rear axle fell off the other day on the highway. Rusted away. Damn, I just replaced this Nov of 2019.
