Muffler Life/Replacement

I'm at 168K miles on my 2000 LX. I have noticed the exhaust noise is getting louder. What is the life of the OEM muffler and what has everyone doing for replacement?

I recall seeing a thread 6-12 months ago about someone purchasing an aftermarket muffler off Amazon but haven't searched for that thread. I don't think I have seen other threads on just muffler replacement.

I believe, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I tihnk Toyota has a lifetime warranty on OEM exhaust system replacement. Call your nearby Toyota dealer and ask them about it, since you're the original owner I think it applies to you

I checked my maintenance/warranty book and didn't see anything guaranteed for life of the truck.

Emissions is covered under 8 years/80k miles.

I made a few calls about this exhaust muffler ordeal, apparently only the lifetime warranty is offered on replacement. If any of it is original to the car, then it was covered under the basic 3 year/36000 mile warranty (or extended).
