That's about 27% interstate driving, 73% city/other.

Wow - thats a lot lower than I am seeing on my new LX. After 10 tanks I have averaged (per calculations) 16.8 mostly suburban streets with a high of 19.8 on a highway cruise. Heavy foot?

Just got back from my mountain trip from Fort Collins to Steamboat and averaged 19.1 even through the mountains...

Sounds about right. Immediately after I bought I drove from Ohio to Death Valley. Never once dropped below a calculated 19 even with AC cranked, regular gas, and mountains.

Geez. At 65,000 miles, my computer says up to 14 mpg. I am running an average of 37 psi. Ethanol premium gas is being used.

That sounds really low to me. Have you actually calculated the mileage manually? That being said, my LX's mileage computer is actually pretty close to what I am seeing.

I'm also running regular gas.

I also have a very light foot. And drive the speed limit.

I haven't calculated the miles manually though. I will top off tonight and go from there.

I certainly do not have a heavy foot. I almost never use the A/C. I'm running 87 octane.

On the last two tanks (all in town) it says 13.0 since last fill-up. That's inline with the window sticker. As for the overall calculation, I attribute low numbers to cold engine temps--I bought it in December. I do use my remote start (the waste-o-gas-warm-up-the-seat-heater function), and my daily commute is less than 5 miles. I am often halfway to my destination before I have sufficient heat. (Isn't this thing supposed to have a ceramic heater to give instant heat?)

I averaged about 12 in town and 16 on the highway in my 2004 Suburban with the same style of driving. Adjusted for the new calculations for MPG, the Suburban was rated 13/17.

(Also, we have a red light at nearly every intersection.)

I wish we had remote start, to cool the car down though :bang:
