Moving UC's website

Hey all. I will be moving our website soon. We were pushing our disk space limits and the next package to up our limits was priced high for our needs. I have some server space that I host a couple other websites and with my hosting package I get unlimited disk space, and will be able to host the site at no cost.

I have been spending the past couple nights rebuilding the site at my web-space and it is nearing completion.

FTP users I will be coping everything over and we should retain the file structure. I ask that you stop from uploading until I get everything swapped, that way nothing is lost in the move.

I should hopefully have everything moved and swapped by Monday night, but the name-servers may take a couple days to line up right.


If you have any questions / comments feel free to post here. Also if you run into any issues let me know.

FTP account / fileshare Users.

Due to there going to be a slight change in the login and the fact I need to pick a password for you please pm me what username / password you want and I will reply back with your new info to set up your FTP programs.

Site will not be moved till wed-thursday now, Low Country has something to straighten out before I can finalize. And I will be away from my computer till then. Fire Brigade refresher training, Whoo Burn building here I come.

Sites have been moved to their new homes. I set up email accounts like they were before, using the forwarders to get them to the proper people. If you used pop3 access before let me know there may be some changes. Word press passwords may of changed, try to use the forgot password to reset them if that don't work again let me know. I think that is all.

Oh I need to get with whom-ever is in-charge of merchandise to set up inventory / stock in out store.

Actually I am thinking about creating an image gallery for members to register and upload photos to. That sound like something you all woudl be interested in? I should be able to make it so you can set up albums and what not to organize and browse through.
