Hi Guys, haven't been on here in years, just bought a 100 series project. It's arriving tomorrow on a trailer with no key and probably the shifter in park. Is there a way to move the shifter without it?

Thanks in advance

Todd

You'll see a small square hole plug on the console...under it is the shifter unlock.

Sorry for the ignorance, does that require the key specific for the vehicle? Any Yota key, or just push it with something?

I have transporter showing up Sunday and want to be prepared.

Thanks
Todd

No, just pop the cover off (about the size of a dime) and push in the white button while modulating the shifter to neutral.

I feel like that year had a reprogrammable ECU, should just be a little extra labor plus a master key.
