id like to see all the different ways people here have come up with to carry their motorcycyles, specifically dirtbikes or enduros, anything goes though.

trailer hitches, trailers, etc.

figured itd be another way to get pics of bikes and cruisers in one thread :)

This is my old truck, some used homemade or highly booty-fabbed three-rail motorcycle trailer. The trailer worked very well after I fixed the wiring, replaced a few small parts and replaced the 1970's pimp van wheels it had on it; I'd highly recommend a similar setup. My bike is a KTM LC4 Enduro, about 330 lbs, a bit on the heavy side for an off-road machine. I've seen quite a few single rail motorcyle racks that slide into the reciever hitch, they seem to work well and can handle bikes as heavy as 400lbs =/-.

Trailer? Carrier? Who needs 'em?

I was going to buy a carrier, but I took out a measuring tape and found that my 1975 Honda CB550 would slip right in the back of my 1986 FJ60. I took the mirrors off and she rolled right in. No muss, no fuss. This picture is right before I put all the straps in place, 6 total. I just rolled it up a 12' long 2"x10" and left it on the board. I tacked a red flag on the end of the board and hit the road.

I think if I was going to be doing it more often, I would get a carrier, but this is easy for occasional bike hauling. I loaded the bike on the main street of Rawlings, Wyoming after a motorcycle ride through Yellowstone and Teton National Parks. Gotta love those 60s.

I was just about to start a new thread on motorcycle carriers and found this thread. I just sold my utility trailer because I ran out of room to store my toys. Now I'm looking for a hitch mount to haul my Rokon on the back of my 40. I'd like to see pics of custom or manufactured units if you got 'em. Here's a pic of my old trailer( That I miss) with 2 of my rokons in it.
