Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

Inventory has dried up, especially in Phoenix. There is not a single LX570 (2008-2021) for sale within 100 miles. Setting the filters to LCs (2008-2021) and only two options pop up... I'm surprised tbh, I haven't really looked recently.

What's the market for CPO vehicles going to look like over the next year? My 22' GX460 didn't scratch the 200 itch and I miss having a LC, so trying to decide between waiting 12-24mo (fully paying off my current vehicle and selling it around 40k miles) versus sooner. Would be most interested in buying a vehicle with a solid manufacturer warranty (hence why I'm interested in CPO, and probably extending it), but I'm curious if inventory is going to get worse and worse.

As a data point, a certified 2020 heritage near me with 79,000 miles was just listed at $84K, which sounds high for such a high mileage vehicle: https://www.citytoyota.com/inventor...ition-4wd-4d-sport-utility-jtmcy7aj8l4086290/. Compared to a year ago the inventory looks a lot more scarce, so I'm wondering if people have thoughts on where inventory might go over the next year or two... My other option is just to save up and bank the extra cash for a private party vehicle, but I'm more interested in a recent/low-mileage/stock vehicle to avoid unnecessary trips to the shop.
I agree with the previous comment. If you need to trade your GX, waiting is going to hurt more. Especially if you want a Heritage.

The one listed is a bit high if compared to when I bought mine one year ago. My 2020 HE had 34000miles when I bought for $81,000. It was also a Gold CPO by Toyota. That said, these are getting harder and harder to find so I would imagine value is increasing and 35k mile ones are even more rare, hence why they are asking $84k for one with 79k miles. The whole "new land cruiser" Prado fiasco also pushed and kept strong 200 values up there.

You should be able to bring that one to $80k/$81k considering the miles - but being a CPO adds value if you plan to keep the vehicle for a long time (even if you don't, since it is transferable). People do not realize this, but a Gold CPO covers A LOT of components (not only the engine) for 7 years from purchase date. This might result in great savings 5 years from now, when you are raking miles up to say 100k.

If you are ok with a Base, you probably save between $10k to $15k on an equivalent year/mile truck.

Yeah the number I had in my head was 79. I’d prefer not to have a Black truck but maybe it’s not the end of the world, and I do love how they look. I might reach out about the 2020 to see, or wait for a base (definitely don’t care about having a HE)

I just picked up another 200.

It's a 2013, single-owner, 315,000 miles, pretty well optioned, and has a long CarFax of dealer maintenance.

I paid $16,500

Looks amazing! I kind of want to pick up a high-mileage 2013+ as another project car. Not sure if I'll get rid of my 2008 LX570, but I just love working on these.

I know most people target the 2016+, but honestly I think the jump from 2008-2011 to 2013-2015 was bigger. The quality of the leather markedly improved.

It's one of the cleanest 13-15's I've ever seen, not considering mileage. I had already had to do a coolant valley plate (hence the dealership photo), but I found that during my inspection before I bought the vehicle.

They are a blast to work on, like all my cruisers. Definitely the best on the interstate, in my opinion.

2016 Terra interior, 94k miles. Listed at $52k, paid $50k even through Autotrader Private Seller Exchange. 9/10 condition in and out.

Lots of price drops on LX570's. I'm looking at 2018-21. At this point, I'm holding out for a pristine Lexus certified. Talking with a few dealers, but the inventory is out there. Buyers mkt IMO.
