Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

In today's market, what's a reasonable price range for a CPO 2-owner, 50,000 mile 2016+?
I would guess $60-$62. Number could be adjusted with mods and ext/int color

Just secured a 2018 Blue/Terra, 37k mi, 2 owner, clean Carfax, TX truck for $69.8k. Dealer did new brakes and tires with the sale too. I am happy with it.

Finding this LC took ~4 months of continous searching but I finally found a good, clean 200 in my budget (and my #1 color combo) after selling my 2015 back in the spring. The new-to-me truck listed on Autotrader early on a Saturday evening and I called within minutes...it took a long time to close the deal (dealer software issues slowing down the process, plus I got it inspected) and reportedly they were getting 3-5 calls/offers a day on it while I had it under deposit.

I mention that last bit of info FWIW in relation to the recent discussions about the market / prices cooling off these days. Are prices coming down from COVID crazy levels? Sure, but that was a bit of a bubble. Knowing how difficult and competitive it was to find and secure a well cared for, "reasonably" priced (IMO) 200 series...it seems the interest in these vehicles is still very, very high. I wanted to like the LC250, but based on the ones I have seen in person driving around my part of the world...they seem to lack the fit & finish of the 200s and IMO, certainly are not worth the asking price new (nevermind the ADM many places are seeking!). Just my .02 there.

It will always get lower, except for the HE (maybe). In terms of depreciation slope I think we will see it steepen a bit on the older models as we see more LC's coming onto streets, but hard to estimate how much of a drop that will have since these are fairly rare as is and the enthusiast base will always like the "last of the V8s." I would say depending on how picky you are (color, proximity to home) if the right one comes up, buy it. Not a ton of volume so unless you are not picky at all and just price shopping, not worth trying to time the market.
It seems like the HE market has fluctuated so much, early this year HEs with 15-25k miles were selling for 82-85k and now they are back up to 85-92k. Obviously the stock super low mileage examples go for north of 100k. I have been trying to time the market and I'm failing miserably. I need that crystal ball...

Someone to get this...

Help - a friend is selling his 2014 200 with 245k on the clock. Well maintained, southern vehicle. He is thinking of $24k-$25k range. Is that fair, high or low? And I am potential buyer.

Having just reviewed the market and bought mine, I would say high teens would be a good deal, but competition from another interested party could drive it up. The knowledge and confidence in it's previous owner and history add a lot of value so I'd rather get that for low 20s than one unknown in the mid teens.

I thought mine had a lot of miles per year. 24k+ miles a year is crazy.

Been waiting for something like this to appear. This one right down the road for me with 400k sold pretty much immediately.

How is that even possible? (The mileage, that is)
I'd like to think it was a true land cruiser. Someone literally just drove it long distances often i reckon. We all laughed in our local groups and one dude went to go look at it and it had sold lol.

High mileage 2013+ are rare but still command a decent amount still contrary to what we think.

I wasnt going to pay that but if it had a book of maint done from a local shop i'd think about it.

But we will never know

Yeah my 2016 had 152k miles on it when I picked it up a couple months ago. The guy was an old oil field guy and just drove all over Texas.

I don't see prices coming down on lx570, they are up there. I thought the market was easing up but I haven't seen it. Hell even when I put in my lc200 value in different sites the value is way way lower than retail. 2016 LC w 82k miles (not looking to sell but curious on value).

I'd say you're in the $50k - $55k range.

Has anyone checked out the ‘17 being listed here in the forum? It’s located in Dallas, black with brown interior. Believe it has 192k miles on it. Owner is asking $36k. That’s the lowest ‘16+ I’ve seen.

According to most sites my 2016 value is only 39k, I'm like you're crazy couldn't buy one w 80k for anywhere near 39.
Thats probs the price a dealer would give you. They need to make money and thats just how the cookie crumbles.

Private Party is where the money's at. But alot of people prefer the ease of dealerships so thats where they go.

Like i said a few days ago, it's a great time to be a buyer, terrible time to be a seller unless you got some rare trim (lol) or color combo

Somethings gotta be off lol.

Or folks who would drop 40K+ on a vehicle doesnt want one with almost 200k on it.

Im thinking it's the latter.

Someone is gonna buy it and honestly i dont think it's a good price. Someone put a ton of miles on it. To turn around and still get 40k from it would be amazing for the seller lol

I know right! I tried PM’ing the seller and his box was full. I keep hoping and praying the ‘16’s+ get into the 30’s at dealerships. Or I may just wait 5+ years till I can afford an HE, haha.
