Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

There was a great looking '16 Gray/Terra with 94k miles in SLC for $54k. They sold it before I could make up my mind (out of state). Everything was good as far as I could tell.
Yeah I saw that one. Reasonable price but the rust kept me away. Wasn’t terrible but trying to hold out for a rust free one. Hoping that as new sequoias ship we’ll see more inventory

Oh really - ha now the price and time the dealer had it makes sense. I asked the salesman twice to send me pics of the underside and he said he would... next day it sold. Glad to know I didn't miss out

Came across an interesting feature at edmunds "see what changed" 2008 LX 570 125k miles as an example. Only reflects trade in value.
3k tip from the high. See image.

I posted earlier a link to article about dealer profit margins getting tighter and came across a post somewhere that dealer trade in offers are getting unexpectedly lower.

How do we feel about a CPO 2018 LC with 50,600k miles priced at 79,881? Acquired through auction on 8/15. Dealer won't budge on price.

All I can say is that I have seen LX’s sit on dealer lots longer and have seen price reductions. I think we are starting to normalize. Who knows if pricing will fall substantially, but at least it is not increasing.

Is it close? Is it the best (or close to best) for the color/interior option within (insert threshold for miles away)?
Is it the deal that makes you feel good? (Some care more about CPO than others). If yes, pull the trigger. These are not the cars that people buy for the best deal or the lowest cost per mile. Do what makes you happy and don’t overthink it.
Deal doesn’t seem bad, but probably a little high. I bought a 35k, not CPO, 2019 for around same price in June. I paid more for proximity and color/interior. I’ve found a couple small issues (ex: needed new tires) but I’m happy overall and this is for long term ownership.

I notice a lot of post here are looking to confirm with complete strangers that they are making the right choice.

It's a freaking Land Cruiser!
If you are fortunate enough to afford one and it makes you happy then do it!

Pretty sure no one is going to chime in and tell you what a terrible deal you had just made.
Good day sirs!

Isn't the point of a forum to chat with like minded enthusiast? Not sure how asking for a pricing opinion is any different....

And, isn't that the entire point of this thread? To review, inquire, and chat about 200 series pricing....

the deal is so-so IMO. the CPO is what I think is demanding that price. If you want the CPO warranty, that's not a bad deal, since 2018s are probably all close being out of the warranty period. what's the terms of the warranty? 100k miles/5 years from purchase?

I had a TSB done on my 2018 for the rear HVAC and the dealer tried to charge me to flash the vehicle. I have platinum VSC, so there was no additional charge.

Sure is!
$80K is too much money for an LC with 50k miles....

Toyota CPO is comprehensive warranty for 12m/12k from date of purchase and limited/powertrain of 7y/100k miles from date of purchase. Decent program. If they would come down a little, it would be mine. Instead, they aren't moving so I'll wait. They've had it for a month.

Dealership I used to work at has had this one a while... Thoughts on price?

Example from 2013 LX with 100K. Tanked (or normalized?) 6k on the trade in. Prices are normalizing it seems but the market appears to be volatile still.

I know I’m in the minority here but I can’t wait till prices start dropping like a rock. I know the cruiser is worth more than most vehicles and should be based on what your getting. Although 50k for a 10 year old truck is insane to me. I don’t care how good it’s supposed to be or how much someone paid for it new. But what do I know? Obviously not much cause there’s people buying this things left and right at those prices.

What is going to happen to cause the prices on Land Cruisers to drop like a rock?…………….Asking for a friend?

You’re in luck! The 10-year-old ones are already going for barely over half what you think they are. Guess they’ve already dropped to rock status. 😂

This is a great thread. I am regrettably considering selling my 2016 LC. It is Brandywine Mica and has around 67k miles. It has the BP51 OME suspension, Ikon wheels and KO2s. Life changes though and sometimes you have to do things that make you cry lol. But this definitely gives me an idea for what things are going for.

They certainly will not drop like a rock, but I’ve been shopping for the last 6 months and I’ve observed prices clearly sloping downward.

We are in fact on the other side of the madness. Prices on 200s are selling for close to late-2019 prices again. Take a close look at how unsuccessful sellers are on this sub forum. The only one I’ve seen sold on this board in the last several weeks was that Magnetic Gray 2016 with 67k miles at $60k.

I wish them luck, but what you’re seeing are half motivated sellers taking a stab at and big return and nobody is biting.

Terra or black?
