That trail chewed the hell out of my steel wheels.....

Did that pop the bead?

It's pretty sad when we think 15 mpg is good. That's what we got in the jeep on that trip.

I would kill for some help in the warehouse......

 Is Beno MIA again...that slacker!

The Tank Trap trail is a good one for honing one's wheeling skills IMO. It offers no death defying stuff and hardly any body damage causing obstacles or pin striping alleys. It does, however, teaches one how to pick the right line and proper wheel placement. It's also a good shake down trail for suspension mods as that trail tweaks the crap out of the suspension. That's the only trail where the rear spring popped out in my 80 :doh:

Lawrence did a great job of piloting the JK through it all w/o any issues. He proved that a good working suspension coupled with a decent set of 33" M/T tires, a lightweight rig like a Jeep is very trail worthy.

There is some off-camber stuff and the entrance if you go around the pond to the left instead of through the bottom. Another good practice spot.
