bad news,
i didn't realize how fast WSSR was coming up, i will be wrenching on the tractor to get it back up and running in time.

sorry guys.

Hi Folks,

I am hoping to make it out to meet the group tomorrow! I haven't been able to get away yet to join everyone, but I might even be able to make WSSR as I am working in Sudbury on Monday - Wednesday anyway... I have a tech item on my BJ60... I need to do a compression test on my high miler 3B to see if it will handle the turbo I have sitting here waiting... Anybody have a diesel tester and adapter for a 3B?

Cheers,
Eric

Just got back, great to see you guys again...

with the increased aerodynamics of the half doors I was able to maintain 90-100 km/hr all the way home, coffee and bailey's to thaw out now....

thanks for taking care of my nuts : )

dont forget the thread locker too :P

good meeting, thanks to jacob for the bbq and brad for hosting, and the shop supplies ;)

Hey Mike, glad we finally had a meeting that fit in with your work schedule and glad you made it home in one piece with the way that wind was blowing.
Dave

Another good turn out, and we finally had more than one 40 series out. Final tally was 8 members with 7 Cruisers. 2 BJ42's, 1 BJ70, 1 HJ61, 1 FJ/BJ62 and 2 FJ62's. We had the BJ70 on the hoist looking at a rear spring mount that had broke free from the frame and Mike's BJ42 was up so we could check out his 5 spd swap and tighten up a couple of loose rad nuts.
Dave

hj62 to be precise :p
its got the 62 chasis with the 2h

BJ40 to be precise...mine started out with a 4 speed and a B motor, now a 5 speed and 3B...

yep, i do.

Thanks wayne, but I didn't make it on Sunday. Sister and brother in law 'dropped in' and the kids started playing.... there goes the Sunday! I actually pulled the BJ60 off the road yesterday in prep for the turbo project and probably body and paint. The body is super solid (AB truck), and I want to take care of a couple of small spots before the Ontario salt makes it look like the rest of the Ontario trucks. I will still need to do a compression test though... I am up your way on work occasionally although not with the cruiser.... perhaps someone closer has one I could borrow? I would just buy one but cash is tight.....

I do appreciate the offer though...

Eric

June Meeting

Hey,Dave

I was planning on attending Sunday, but maybe it would be a good idea to pick another weekend. It seems to be a busy weekend for most.

After all it is the first weekend of summer and last week of school.

Just my $.02

Dave

I have no problem switching the meeting date. I was going to leave my trailer early to come back for it anyway. Consider it postponed, I'll send out an e-mail to the club with a new date. Thanks for the input guys.
Dave
