I plan to be there - just getting the word out. Clear Creek is fun and the youngest ghost town is located in new idria an old quicksilver mine - lots of azbestos and other health hazard along with fun wheeling

I assume an "80" with OME heavy lift, 285's, and lockers should have no troubles?

as far as I know Cal4wheel is not jeep specific....

And Cleer Creek is mostly fire roads... (for 4wheeling)

should be fine with that setup on your 80, as far as I know its not a jeep only event - I have never been to it and I was going to check it out, if it makes it easier I will probably bring my 80 series. I have been to clear creek many times and never needed more than all terrain tires and some common sense

that should confirm that this is not a jeep run for all those in the doubt - I may bring the 80 or the Djeep, not sure yet. I really have to do the Birfields and the bearings. Did you know I was stuck on Cinnabar Hill CCMA for 3 days without food and water (I had lots of beer) in my 80 series in June 5 or 6 years ago? I should make it. I like CC
