Sorry, but that ^ looks awful.

Function over looks for me any day. I've little vanity.

x2. Does he not have cupholders on teh back of the center console?

The stock cup holders at the back are garbage in my mind. Their not deep and they waste space with the cover. When I got mine, the cover was already messed up a little. In taking apart the center to remove the faded, nasty wood trim, I got rid of the stock cup holders completely. I am working on a custom rebuild of that area with larger cup holders, so that area is not at all what the picture is about. I am also building another custom storage area where the factory slot "pocket" is, as well as the poorly laid out DC plugs and ashtray at the bottom of the dash. Honestly, there is little about the 100 series interior I like, so I am changing it so I do.

Personally, and in person, the extra cup holder is a clean install and matches nicely. It will be shallower than my other two because the arm for the shifter is under that area.

On a 1998-2005 UZJ, cutting a 4" hole in the front of the airbox and installing a $10 deck plate from a boat supply store to get more air to the engine and get what seems like more power and a smoother power band isn't a bad "cheap" mod either.

Or you could just get a turbo. Works for me!

now you're sucking in hot air instead of cold, that part unfortunately is not so likely to increase power...

This cost about $12.50:hillbilly:

Spies Hecker matte clear actually :flipoff2:

Looks awesome. Tell us more. Somewhat confused by the following: Product technical data sheet states "Permacron® Matt Clear Coat 8085 should only be used for small areas (add-on parts of passenger cars)."

Not sure of the actual product they used, it was back in 2008. It's holding up pretty well though off road and me walking on it and obviously....never waxing it.

You can also paint the molding the same color as the body as well. Order the correct Dupli-Color to match the truck along with the appropriate clear coat - if you don't have White or Black because those two colors don't have a clear coat. Cost to do so is still under $50 total. You can do the front and rear bumpers w/ the cans too, but you have to be more careful to get a good finish w/o runs on the large, flat surfaces.

Wouldn't this make you much more susceptible to hydrolock?

Only if you didn't put the lid on the deck plate before you crossed the water.;p

That's why you use a deck plate from a boat - water tight when closed.
