i was wheeling up in elkins west virginia once and broke my frame in half in 3 placesThe mitsu's have strong drivetrains. I wheeled the snot out of my Might Max PU, never had a hint of mechanical trouble. But aftermarket parts availability was non-existent. No gears, lockers, lift kits, etc.
If you want a japanese centered rear axle, use one from a minitruck or T100. There are plenty of gears and brake options for them.
Why?A better (non-yota) option might be a trooper rear axle....
Aha! I didn't know there was any part of the globe where the Toy Mini was not ubiquitous.Mini truck rears , or anything , in this area are as rare as hens teeth.
